Founder
Construction has been part of my life for as long as I can remember—I grew up following my dad around job sites, asking questions, and learning how things were built. Over the past 16+ years, I’ve experienced the industry from nearly every angle, from office operations and design to project management and the trades, and I created Sage Build Collective to bring all of that experience together in a way that feels distinctly my own. I’m intentionally building a small, hands-on, woman-owned company where I can stay close to the work and to the people trusting me with their homes. My favorite part is watching a client’s ideas become a space that truly works for their life, while making the process feel calm, manageable, and even fun along the way. When challenges inevitably come up, I’m at my best finding solutions, keeping things moving, and giving my clients the confidence that they have someone they can trust to guide them through it.

Project Executive
Cara brings six years of construction experience and more than 20 years of management experience across industries ranging from hospitality and events to medical and construction. Her appreciation for architecture and building started young, growing up around—and helping care for—a family home built in 1848. She loves the puzzle of a remodel: understanding what a home is capable of, what a client wants and needs, and finding the right solution to bring the two together. Naturally calm and solutions-oriented, Cara is especially good at navigating the unexpected without adding stress to the process. Clients often say her steady, easygoing approach helps them feel confident that when a challenge comes up, she’ll find a way forward.
